Community Outreach •••

As a liberal religious institution, we seek to love our neighbors as ourselves. Each month we share half of our cash offering with a local non-profit organization. These funds support causes and programs in our neighborhoods, programs that provide vital services to our community. We continue to celebrate and support the local efforts of non-profits in the West Valley as we care for our communities and those in need.

Valley Interfaith Project (VIP) is a broad-based community organizing institution which teaches people about and engages people in civic participation. We address the pressures facing families in the greater Phoenix area and in the state. Our most recent work has been related to the state budget crisis, education, immigration and housing foreclosures. We also have working groups to address concerns about job development and healthcare. If you have questions about VIP please speak to Rev. Paul.

We are involved in a number of activities in our community. On an ongoing basis, we collect food for the Glendale Food Bank, and we collect jackets and hoodies for the William Jack Elementary School. We also collect items for the Glendale High School as needed.

We are involved in other small projects throughout the year, and we offer Forums at the church on topics of interest to our members and friends. Please check the newsletter or the calendar for dates, times and speakers.
