Sunday school begins this year with a camping trip to Munds Park, just south of Flagstaff on September 10 – 11. Our first Sunday school class at the church will be September 18th. Children in grades 3 – 6 will meet in the RE building at 9:30 and children in grades K – 2 will hold their Sunday school class during the sermon.

Please welcome Cole Miller as our caregiver for pre-school kids during the church service. Cole has been attending WVUU for many years, and now that he’s in high school, he feels that it’s his turn to give back to the community. As many of you know, he and the other junior high school students assisted with caring for our youngest folks last year. Cole ended up being a very popular babysitter for a couple of our families and this summer, he took the Safe Sitter course through Mayo clinic, where he learned about CPR and how to deal with ordinary behavior issues of little people. He’ll be with the kids from 10:20 – 11:45 every week in the RE building. Please stop by to say “Hello” and “Thanks”.
