This service will be an exploration of a few of those stories, and possibilities on how we might help transform a hurting world. 11th “The Beloved Community” - Rev. John LeRoy, Parish Minister Our annual Ingathering, ushering in a new church year, brings opportunities to learn all the ways in which a congregation ministers to its members and to society. 18th “The Essential UU Bookshelf” - Barry Linden, Sandra Mahoney, Llew Howell, Tom Lopez and Ann Harper the presenters will offer appraisals of ten books selected from the more than thirty suggested by the West Valley congregation. They will be exploring how each of these works has impacted their thinking, its effect on their point of view, whether it was spiritually uplifting, and if so, how.
