¨ Welcomed new board members.  Kathy and Bill Dugan share the board secretary position. Brian O’Laughlin and Darnell Kirksey join the board as trustees at large.

¨ Joel Foster and Ann Harper are approved as Co-Chair for Facilities.  They will need to be voted in at the congregational meeting in December.

¨ The annual canvass is wrapping up.  The last batch of letters will be going out.  Results will be published next month.

¨ Confirmed that there is money in the budget to retain Alana through July and August to provide childcare during the Sunday service.

¨ Joel Foster discussed the formation of a new Social Action committee.

¨ Discussed ideas for making the church more welcoming.  Suggestions were made about posting signs and making the sanctuary entrance more appealing.  The Facilities committee will begin work on this effort immediately.

¨ Minister’s contract extension has been approved for ¼ time pending a new ½ time contract in September.
