Hear how members share their "experience, strength and hope" in dealing with the physical, emotional and spiritual effects of alcoholism in friends and loved ones. You will understand why 12-step meetings commonly are held in churches. 22nd “The Varieties of Humanist Experience.” Rev. LeRoy examines American humanism, in its secular, atheistic, spiritual, and religious expressions. 29th “The Bible Against Itself” - Randel Helms Randel Helms is a Prof. of religious studies at ASU and a member of the Paradise Valley UU Church. Randy has spoken before at our church. He will be talking about his book "The Bible Against Itself" that was released last month.
