Text Box: First, many thanks to Lisa Cook for her donation of the beautiful book, The Everything Seed. I’ll have it out on the table in the RE building for people to look at March 6th.

Here’s what we’ve been doing in Sunday school:

The Jr. Hi is continuing their introduction to world religions: We took a look at Judaism, thanks to Mark Cohen who used to be a member of our church many years ago and Larry Lorenzen introduced some of the major tenets of the Church of Latter Day Saints. In March, the class will discuss the teachings and practices of a couple of protestant denominations: Mennonites and Quakers.

Grade school kids explored the virtues of Happiness and Humility with Dorothy Ward in February and will be focusing on Honesty in March.

The Fledgling Club learned all sorts of amazing and wonderful things about plants in January and February. They grew lots of plants from seed and an onion plant from…. well, an onion. Then they went on to learn about air and wind. They are working on a very special presentation for the congregation on March 13th.
